Sen. Clinton Visits Michelle Estrada, RN

In 2007, as part of SEIU's "Walk a Day in My Shoes" program, Sen. Hillary Clinton joined Las Vegas nurse Michelle Estrada on her nightly rounds at St. Rose Hospital.

Hundreds of Value Care nurses visited USA Today.com to post a comment on their coverage of the visit. They used the media's attention on Estrada to educate thepublic on the need for safe staffing standards as a key part ofhealthcare reform.

Visit the USA Today story and read RN comments on why it's important we enact safe-staffing nationwide.
